Welcome To Monroe Yoga & Tai Chi Center
Come experience Hatha Yoga, Tai Chi and Meditation at the Monroe Yoga & Tai Chi
Center. Hatha Yoga is a physical practice based on ancient yogic wisdom. Tai Chi is
an internal Chinese martial art, that improves health and longevity. We also offer meditation
events, martial arts (Wing Chun style,) and a host of spiritual and cultural workshops.
Classes are taught in a relaxed atmosphere, allowing the participant to embark on
a journey of discoveries
into their body and soul. Competition is discouraged as each body
is unique, having it's own strengths and limitations at any given time. If you seek relaxation,
flexibility,
improved health and spiritual growth, come try a class.
More information about the Yoga style we instruct: it is the classic Hatha Yoga style, which
is based on the original Yoga postures. Classes include a combination of holding Yoga
asanas with a little bit of flow Yoga. All our instructors are certified Yoga Alliance teachers,
who view guiding a Yoga class as a work of passion, done out of caring and devotion.
Accommodating all levels. First class is free.
Monroe Yoga & Tai Chi is a RYS-200 (Registered Yoga School with the Yoga Alliance.)
